Essay on proverb "prevention is better than cure" Prevention is better than cure is an age-old proverb that suggests it is better to take precautionary measures to avoid risks and dangers than to attempt to fix the problem after it has occurred. This proverb reflects an important truth in life, as avoiding problems and risks is often easier and more effective than trying to repair the damage that has been done. Taking preventive measures can involve anything from eating healthy, exercising regularly, and getting enough sleep to wearing a seatbelt in the car and having a smoke alarm in the home. In all of these cases, taking the time to be proactive in avoiding harm can be invaluable in the long run, as it can prevent health issues, accidents, and other potential problems from occurring. For example, if someone chooses to exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet, they are more likely to maintain a healthy weight and avoid many health issues that can arise from being overwei...
