- Story of A Bundle of Sticks
Once upon a time, there was a father who had three sons who were constantly fighting and bickering with one another. The father was determined to teach them the importance of unity so he gave them each a bundle of sticks and asked them to break the bundle. Despite each of them trying their best, they were not able to break the bundle. The father then unraveled the bundle and gave each son a single stick. All of them were able to break the sticks easily. The father then explained that no matter how strong or powerful one might be, if they are alone they can easily be broken. But when they are united, they become strong and can no longer be broken. The sons understood the moral of the story and learned to work together rather than fight.
